1. What We Collect

Account info: your email address, nickname, hashed password (we never see or store your plain-text password), and an optional display name.

Profile info: an optional avatar image and bio you add yourself.

Game accounts: a linked Riot ID, Steam ID, or Battle.net tag, used to fetch your public rank and stats.

Activity: messages you send in league and general chat.

Technical info: your IP address, used only to rate-limit the nickname search feature and prevent abuse.

2. How We Use It

To run FlexRanks's core features — leaderboards, profiles, chat, and nickname search. To send you account emails (like verification) via Resend. To keep the site secure and prevent spam or abuse.

We do not sell your data. We do not share it with advertisers. We do not use it for targeted advertising.

3. Third-Party Services

Resend sends verification emails. Discord and Google are used only if you choose to sign in with them — we receive just the basic profile info they provide. Ably powers real-time chat. Vercel and Neon host the site and database. Riot Games, Steam, and Battle.net's public APIs are the source of the rank and stat data shown on the site.

4. Cookies

We use a single session cookie to keep you signed in. We don't use tracking or advertising cookies.

5. Data Retention & Deletion

We keep your account data for as long as your account is active. You can request deletion of your account and its data at any time by emailing flexranks@flexranks.com.

6. Your Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete your personal data, and to object to certain processing. Contact us at flexranks@flexranks.com to exercise these rights.

7. Children's Privacy

FlexRanks is not intended for children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect data from anyone under that age.

8. Security

We take reasonable measures to protect your data, including password hashing and encrypted connections, but no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

9. Trademark Disclaimer

FlexRanks is an independent fan project and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Riot Games, Valve Corporation, or Blizzard Entertainment.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated policy.

11. Governing Law

This policy is governed by the laws of Bulgaria. If you're in the EU/EEA, you have rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
